SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY
At MarketParts MENA Hub W.L.L. ("MarketParts," "we," "our," or "us"), we are committed to ensuring that your orders are processed efficiently and delivered to you in a timely and secure manner. This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines the available shipping methods, expected delivery times, associated shipping fees, and important information regarding the shipment of automotive spare parts and related products purchased through our Platform.
Please note that all shipping timelines and costs are subject to individual arrangements and will vary depending on the specifics of each order, such as destination, product type, and volume.
1. Shipping Options
We offer comprehensive shipping services for both domestic and international deliveries, providing flexible solutions tailored to the size, nature, and location of your order:
1.1 Local Shipping (within Bahrain and the GCC region):
- For small orders, courier services are used for door-to-door delivery, ensuring swift and safe handling of your automotive parts.
- For large or bulk orders, freight services or airport-to-airport shipping may be arranged, depending on the weight, volume, and type of products.
1.2 International Shipping (outside the GCC region):
- We ship internationally to a wide range of destinations using recognized international courier services for smaller orders and freight or air cargo services for larger or heavier consignments.
- Delivery methods are chosen based on the size, weight, and destination of the order to ensure efficiency and security during transit.
1.3 Special Handling and Custom Orders:
- Orders for custom-made or special automotive parts requiring additional handling or care during transit will be treated with priority and shipped using specialized methods to guarantee safety and quality upon delivery.
Note: Shipping methods, costs, and timelines are negotiated individually for each order based on product type, destination, and volume. A personalized shipping proposal will be provided after order placement.
2. Shipment Processing Time
2.1 Standard Processing
- All orders placed on the Platform are typically processed within 2 to 3 business days. Processing time begins once your order has been confirmed and payment has been successfully received. Orders are not processed, shipped, or delivered on weekends or public holidays.
2.2 High Volume Orders
- During periods of high order volumes or promotional campaigns, there may be slight delays in the processing time. We will take all necessary measures to minimize these delays and ensure timely delivery. You will be notified of any significant delay in shipment via email or phone.
2.3 Special Conditions
- If your order contains custom-made parts or bulk orders requiring special arrangements, additional processing time may be required. We will communicate any expected delays in such cases, and a revised shipping schedule will be provided.
3. Shipping Rates
Shipping fees are calculated based on several factors, including destination, package size, weight, and the chosen shipping method. Shipping fees will be calculated and invoiced individually after your order is confirmed and assembled. Below are the estimated starting rates for courier shipping:
3.1 Courier Shipping Estimates:
- Local Deliveries (within Bahrain and nearby areas):
Minimum 3.5 BHD courier charge, or you may opt for self-collection from our designated warehouse or pickup locations.
- GCC Countries (e.g., Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE):
Minimum 10 BHD, calculated based on current courier rates and the destination.
- International Deliveries (outside the GCC):
Rates will be provided based on the chosen courier service and the destination country, with pricing dependent on the size and weight of the shipment. Exact charges will be calculated during the order assembly stage.
3.2 Airport-to-Airport Shipping:
- For larger or bulk orders, airport-to-airport shipping is available. The cost of this service will be provided on an ad hoc basis, depending on the weight, volume, and destination of the shipment. Please contact us for specific quotes on such deliveries.
3.3 Additional Costs:
- Shipping fees do not cover any customs duties, import taxes, or other local fees that may be applicable in the destination country. These fees are the responsibility of the customer (see Section 7 for more information).
4. Delivery Estimates
Delivery times vary depending on the shipping method and the destination of the order. These timeframes are general estimates, and exact delivery timelines will be determined individually for each order.
4.1 Local Deliveries:
- Bahrain and nearby regions: Typically delivered within up to 5 business days from the date of shipment.
4.2 GCC Countries:
- Deliveries to GCC countries (e.g., UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait) are usually completed within 7-10 business days from the date of shipment.
4.3 International Deliveries:
- International deliveries outside of the GCC region can take between 30-90 days, depending on the destination country and the shipping method chosen.
4.4 Negotiated Timelines:
- For custom or bulk orders, delivery timelines may vary significantly and will be discussed and agreed upon individually with each customer.
4.5 Unexpected Delays:
- While we strive to meet these delivery timelines, there may be factors beyond our control that cause delays, including customs clearance processes, extreme weather conditions, or local regulations. In the event of such delays, we will notify you promptly and work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
5. Shipment Confirmation and Tracking
Once your order has been processed and dispatched, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email. This email will contain your order details along with a tracking number, enabling you to monitor your shipment's status.
- You can track your order through the courier's website using the tracking number provided or directly through the order history in your MarketParts account.
- Please allow up to 24 hours after receiving the shipment confirmation for the tracking information to become active.
6. Self-Collection (Click & Collect)
For local customers, we offer the option of self-collection from our designated warehouse or pickup locations:
- When selecting the Click & Collect option during checkout, you will receive an email once your order is ready for collection. You may then pick up your order at the scheduled time and location.
- Orders that are not collected within 48 hours of the scheduled collection time may be canceled without prior notice, particularly for COD (Cash-on-Delivery) orders.
7. Customs, Duties, and Taxes
For international shipments, customs duties, taxes, and other fees may apply once the shipment reaches the destination country. MarketParts is not responsible for these charges, and they are the responsibility of the customer.
- Any customs clearance fees, import taxes, tariffs, or duties levied by the destination country are outside our control and will be charged to the customer as per the applicable local regulations.
- We recommend contacting your local customs office for more information on applicable charges before placing an international order.
8. Shipping Limitations and Restrictions
8.1 Country-Specific Restrictions:
Certain countries have specific restrictions on the import of automotive spare parts or related products. These restrictions, as well as any regulations related to sanctioned products or territories, are covered in our Sanctions and Country-Specific Restrictions Policy, which can be provided upon request or viewed on our website.
8.2 Prohibited Items:
Due to legal or logistical constraints, we do not ship certain products to specific countries. If your order contains any restricted items, we will notify you, and alternative arrangements or cancellations will be offered.
9. Damaged or Lost Shipments
9.1 Damaged Shipments:
If you receive a damaged product, you must report the issue to MarketParts within 24 hours of delivery. We will investigate the issue and provide a resolution, which may include a replacement product or refund.
9.2 Lost Shipments:
If your shipment is lost in transit, please notify us as soon as possible. We will liaise with the courier or shipping provider to locate your package and, if necessary, arrange for a replacement or refund.
